Officer Kit (OK) combines research and sensory tools to provide an alternative approach that could save lives. Awareness of the human Central Nervous System and unexpected behavior when both an officer and suspect feel threatened provides the needed plan to defuse tension resulting in positive outcomes. OK is rooted in neurology and evidence based results.  
 
Through the application of sensory tools used to defuse and distract, OK  is purposefully designed to support both officer and suspect by providing the officer a planned approach to quickly build trust with the suspect to minimize an unwanted aggressive outcome. 
 
Each OK includes 6 quiet fidget tools offered by the officer to an individual in need in a clear plastic box are used to defuse tension until mental health professionals arrive to provide needed support.
